Sleeping Beauty

Is there anything more precious than a sleeping baby? If there is I don't want to know about it. Taytum is now 10 months and some of her favorite things are eating anything she can get her hands on, laughing and playing with her sisters, playing patty-cake, having everyone tell her how big and beautiful her eyes are, and walking along furniture. She loves giving kisses and will probably be walking in a few weeks! She is such a good little Tato Bug!

Fun at Discovery Gateway!

Last week my mom and I took the twins to the Discovery Museum at the Gateway...they had a BALL!!! Kell and I took them before Tay was born and they had a good time, but now that they are older they had such an amazing time! They loved planting a garden, playing in the water, organizing the fruit and vegetables (yet another sighting of Reese turning into Aunt Heado) and making music. They also got to go to a special book reading of David goes to School and made a star necklace. I can't wait to take them again...I think we could go for 3 full days and never get bored!

Hoppy Easter!!

We had a super fun Easter weekend. It started out at the Grantsville City Park for their annual Easter egg hunt. There was face painting, pics with the Easter bunny (who looked like he had rabies) and of course the hunt. They actually had a pretty good spread of treats and eggs

and lots of candy. We got there literally one minute before the siren went off (just in time to see an older gentleman who looked like he was in his late 80's sitting in a lawn chair dressed like a trapper and holding a stuffed eagle. It was really weird and if he would have asked any of my girls to "pet his eagle" I would have had him arrested.) and of course the siren scared the living daylights out of my girls (they are a little scared of sounds. They hear a pin drop and need to be put on oxygen...) but they kept their eyes on the prize and got quite a few goodies. Then we went over to Grandma and Papa's for another Easter egg hunt and the best brunch of ham and cheesy potatoes I have had in a long time-my mom seriously makes the BEST cheesy potatoes! Today the Easter bunny made his way to the house and gave the girls adorable Radio Flyer pink tricycles and Taytum a Little Peoples set. It was our Tay Tay's first Easter and I must say the between the three of them we have the hottest chicks in town! Hope everyone had as great of a weekend as us!

Is there such a thing as too fancy for church??

So, I went to a dress party on Monday, and that was my first mistake. For those of you who don't know, a dress party is an open house where a lady has a whole bunch of super fancy dresses and accessories for sale. I had already bought the girls Easter dresses about a month ago, so I was going to look at accessories to match the dresses...socks, headbands etc. So I checked out all the accessories, made some desicions, then started looking through the dresses just for the heck of it, when I zeroed in on this dress. It was like in a movie...our eyes locked, all other dresses disappeared and I made my way over in slow-motion. I picked it up and we whirled around and around until we fell into a field of wildflowers hand in sash. I don't remember the last time I saw such a beautiful dress. So Britt (who owed me the exact amount of money that the dress was priced at...it's like it was meant to be!!) bought it for me. I was beaming the whole way home. Then the garage door opened...my hands started to shake a little bit. Money is not exactly bursting out of our wallets at the moment, so I was SUPER nervous to tell Kelly. Some people try and trick their husbands by saying they bought something last year, or not even telling them at all, but not me. I've got the guiltiest conscience around. So he walks in the door and I blurt out that I bought Taytum a dress and showed it to him. He asked me when she had gotten asked to the Prom....I told him she hadn't. He asked me if she was going to be a bridesmaid or flower girl for a wedding...I told him wrong again. And I'll be danged if my husband isn't the best man in the world!! He told me that since the Jazz had won it was no big deal and that he thought it was adorable. So, don't get used to me saying this but I have become a HUGE Jazz fan! GO JAZZ!! Now one question-is it too fancy for church? I am also planning on her wearing it for her one year portrait, but I just don't want it to be too fancy for church...any thoughts??
